Right now, the air temperature is -14 with the wind chill registering in at -35.
Since the beginning of recorded temperature in Chicago, there have only been 44 days where the temperature did not rise above 0 degrees during a 24-hour period. Today makes day #45
I feel privileged to be a part of this weather-ific history.
Now if I could just re-live yesterday and appreciate what I had....maybe even eat lunch in the backyard...

Yeah, I was gonna say..I did not even get why you were complaining the other day. Your weather was just fine. Now today...well yes, that is another story.
p.s. it was 75 here today. Conner was outside playing. I was a bit worried he might get a sunburn.

Wow! That does look chilly. Been watching movies and reading some good books? When can you expect the polar caps to start thawing?
When we landed in Chicago Midway for our layover( on tuesday) they opened the doors on the back of the plane before letting everyone off. It was freezing, litterally. You are a saint for living there.
Wow, you really should have been more grateful, then maybe the weather wouldn't have turned on you. Well, here's your chance to say to the weather, "Weather, thanks. Thanks for the above 0 weather. It was great and well, I think you're an IALAC." (IALAC stands for I AM LOVABLE AND CAPABLE) Then maybe the weather would gift to you another day above 0. Just maybe. If you're lucky and Weather isn't still mad at you for not have that Attitude of Gratitude you should have shown him in the beginning. Good luck, and don't be afraid to pull out your summer clothes and show Weather your gratitude.
I agree with Heidi....but before you do that I want to see you pouring water out of glass and let it freeze. So don't begin to be grateful or repentant, for your previous attitude, until you do the water thing.
Hey, just wanted to give you another update on our weather here. It is beautiful and sunny, highs in the 70's. I actually have my windows open even as I type. yes, that is our weather. Has yours warmed up any?? :) (Sunny, warm weather just makes me smile. Does it do the same for you? Sorry, it was just a question!!! GOSH! (think of napolian dynomite talking there!)
Move to Texas! It's a freezing 55 degrees!
Hey, I am leaving another update of our weather...beautiful WARM day. it hit an amazing, comfortable 78! Yep, we are definitly getting our vit. D!! Are you? Has it warmed up any there? Have you thought about getting some...ice-skates?
