Melodic Monday

I met "Kazzy" when we were Family Home Evening sisters at B.Y.U. We resided at the lovely Moon Apartments on 300 East 700 North. The location of the apartments was great and we loved our ward---B.Y.U. 73rd Ward. The decor of the apartments, left a little bit to be desired---we had lovely turquoise vinyl couches. (Where did they even find those???) And, yes, we stuck to them when the weather was hot! Fun times!!

"K" and her roommates were wonderful girls (still are!) and my apartment really enjoyed being F.H.E. siblings with their apartment.

"K" was blessed with a BEAUTIFUL voice. I was happy to find out that she is still singing. Now she sometimes sings with her professor husband and four sons.

Occasionally she will post some of her songs on her blog. I love listening to the songs she sings and thought you might enjoy them also.

Here is a hymn she shared a few weeks ago. There is something about the way she sung this hymn that made me think of the hymn in a way I haven't before.

And listen to what she shared today here ..... Enjoy!!

Aye Caramba! I can't believe you did an entry about me! Very sweet. Thank you so much. I used to hate Mondays, but they have become fun as I have been doing the musical posts.

The turquoise vinyl! Oh yeah! We had some fun back then. I had only been a member for a year and ate up the entire BYU experience.
