Be still, my little beating heart (and soul)...

We are now in the middle of round TWO of having a student driver.

I now know another reason why people should have babies before they are 50. If they have a baby at 50 or older, by the time said child is learning to drive, said parent will be at least 65.

Said parent would probably suffer a TRUE mild (to severe) heartattack and/or stroke every time they tried to teach the said love-child to drive. Said parent would be in very poor health (IF they are still with us) by the time love-child got their license.

But then love-child would be available to transport said parent to/from cardiologist appointments and/or hospital stays.....

Thank you for rounding then age to 50 since your older sister was 44 when she had Jacob and will be 60 when he is learning to drive. AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So how has that been w/young driver's in the house? Luckily we've managed to put that off so far and Tess is already 17. By the time she showed some real initiative to wanting to get her permit she hurt her foot (surgery, casts, physical therapy, etc.) took the place of any inkling of her driving. But I'm thinking my time is very limited now that physical therapy is almost at an end! I won't have too many more excuses to post-pone the inevitable. Yikes!

As I drive to pick Spencer up at the jr. high, I have seen so many fender benders caused by teenage drivers..it scares the beegeebees out of me. I only have a little over year and half before Spencer can get a permit. If he has his way. Good luck Joy! Linde, I hope we can both laugh about having a teenager when we are 60! Steph..so nice to see you on Joyous' blog. You've held Tess off a long time!!!
