Ahhh---The Innocent Dreams of Childhood......

Last night Ryan yanked out a tooth that was hanging by a gum-thread.

"Dear Tooth Fairy," he wrote.
Please can I have Nike Shox for my tooth.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Ryan."
These are Nike Shox....

So, did the tooth fairy come through and did his dream become a reality??? (I mean his note was full of please, thank you and sincerely.)

....Unfortunately, it was another childhood dream.....

smashed, obliterated, demolished

again.

Darn Tooth Fairy! What does it have to be... a molar or a wisdom tooth maybe? The tooth fairy needs to leave an itemized list of what each tooth's value is. Other wise you are just pullin teeth for nothin. Better luck next tooth!

I can't believe it. No new shoes!
But hey, let's face it, if the tooth fairy really did bring nice gifts like that, wouldn't we all be pulling teeth out?

At least he dreams big! Poor kid--how is he ever going to make it now without those? :)

Well, the tooth fairy is going to get a tongue lashing from me! She gets everyone's hopes up with her fancy little "take the tooth and leave some money" routine she has going on. Little does she think of the supreme disappointment of children around the world who do get the stuff they dream of. Tooth "fairy", my foot! More like Tooth Dream Killer!

And furthermore, what about all the elderly who lose their teeth? Who's going to make their dreams come true?
As you can probably tell, this is a sore subject for Kristina and I. Thru the counseling we are in, we are trying to overcome it, but this post really hit a sore spot with us... and I'm talking the stuff of root canals!

Wow! And I thought the little boy in my class that got fifteen bucks was getting a lot! Pretty funny! And I work at Art City School, btw. Where do your folks live in Springville? Email me if you would rather.

I love that kid. I hope his other dreams were not dashed recently (BYU's football season). There's always next year. Say hello for me.
