This morning as I was going around picking up everyone's STUFF, I decided on a new strategy to implement during Christmas vacation so everyone will be responsible, in a timely manner, for THEIR OWN JUNK. (I had lots of time to think as I was gathering all the STUFF.)
Starting December 18th at 3:00 p.m.:
1. I will ask the offender ONCE to put away their stuff. THAT will be their warning.
2. If said stuff is not put away in a timely manner and I have to tell them again or pick it up myself, the offender will be doing another JOB (they already have daily jobs) around the house.
3. These jobs will be the kinds of jobs (that no one likes to do) that put a "finishing touch" on making the house REALLY clean---like cleaning baseboards, all the wood, washing the blinds.....
I CAN'T WAIT!!!

If you have an over abundance of offenders and your house is spic and span--send them my way--I have base boards, etc. :) Great idea!!
