M&T Sheriks and Spinners

Taylor is quite the entrepreneur. In November, Taylor started a company called M&T Shericks and Spinners. What is a Sherick and a Spinner, you might ask? Here is a Sherick and a Spinner:
A Sherick:

The Sherick when all the sides are pushed in.

The Spinner.

A Spinner spinning away.

A friend at church showed Taylor how to make these ingenious little items. He started bringing them to school and the kids in his class all wanted them. So he decided to SELL them. They went like gang-busters and soon he needed others to work for him to make them.
Our next door neighbor, Tommy, wanted to make them and "promised" Taylor that he wouldn't tell anyone how it was done. Taylor trusted him and what happened? Tommy promptly tells someone else and they decide to go into competition with Taylor.
Taylor came home that day and decided that he was going to market his products as much better than the competion so that no one would want to buy the competition. Soon the competition's business went down the drain, Tommy and his friend decided they wanted to work for Taylor. So Taylor wrote a contract for all his "workers" to sign.

Taylor needed another worker. Another friend wanted to work for Taylor so Taylor hired him for $1.00 a week---- and the kid agreed to use his own supplies..... (Taylor realized that was pretty cheap....but a business man has got to do what is best for the business!)
Anther kid was interested in working for Taylor and Taylor told him he could sign a contract, but Taylor would need time to "think about hiring" him. Taylor thought about it and then decided not to hire him because that kid was his best customer.
He made money every day---around $30.00 in all before his teacher, Mrs. Demick, banned all "businesses" during school hours. He was disappointed, but it was a good venture into the business world!
