Political Ponderings

Taylor has had a real interest in all the election coverage---debates, news reports etc. I have asked him to write a weekly blog post about his political thoughts and ideas. We will call these posts Political Ponderings. Here's his first post:

Well Monday night I watched the State of The Union. At the beginning they clapped a lot, so I took a tally of how many times they clapped. You can put comments of how many times you think they clapped and next week I will tell you how many times they actually clapped. Also last night I watched You Decide 2008. I watched the bottom of the screen the whole time to see if Romney was going to pull ahead of McCain. He got within 1% but couldn't pull it out, and he ended behind by 4%. Tonight I can't wait till the Republican debate. I really shouldn't be saying that because we are TVOing it beacause I have Scouts. Hopfully Mitt will do well. Until next week---your politically smart relative, T. Hollingshaus

DO YOU NOT SEE THE COMMENTS TELLING YOU TO UPDATE??...& as far as my room being clean...i don't know what to tell you. SOMEDAY!Someday when i don't have to wake up at 5am, go to a club meeting after school, followed by work, and then doing the dinner dishes...I will find energy to hang my clothes up after I wear them, or do wash on a consistant basis.

Sounds to me like someone is being a bit hard on their teenager-aka my neice. Mmmm... who could that be? The right thing to do would be for you to go and hang up her clothes and clean her room and hug her and tell you you love her-then give her the night off of dishes! Hey, it was just a simple suggestion. Blog again-please! How else can I continue to leave you pearls of wisdom?

Hi Joy,
So this comment has nothing to do with your post, but I found your blog through your sisters. I wanted to let you know that Tyler and I will be going to Wisconsin (Milwaukee) for medical school. We'll be fairly close to you and your family!
